» TamsenTillson - Family Feud's Richard Dawson had cheek...
Dawson sure was a creature of the times. He was somewhat lacivious, in a benign way, if that can be said. And yes, the lip-kissing, ick! I remember! You'd never see that in this contaminant-obsessed age.
Come to think of it, I remember growing up that casual touch was very different from now. When I was a teenager teachers and other adults would think nothing of putting their hand on your waist or the small of your back. I don't think they were being letches, that was just what people did then. They don't now. Or not usually, and not harmlessly, anyway.
And so that's another reason to tune in to Dawson, and the bad old days. Ick. Wonder if he gets coldsores?

That's a good one. But you know, back in the bad old days a fella like him could get away with saying something like that in jest. Without being sued.
(We assume it's in jest. Right?)

Richard Dawson was always flirty on FF. Bob Barker on The Price is Right could be downright skanky. Remember when a contestant on "contestants' row" would get a bid exactly right they would win $100.00? Bob would make the female contestants reach into his pocket to get the money. He stopped doing that after one of the former "Barker's Beauties" sued for sexual harrassment.
