Worms: Open Warfare 2 is a 2D game. What makes Worms 2 so much fun is the simplistic 2D graphics. It’s a big part of its charm. Don’t expect to be blown away with stellar graphics or you’ll be disappointed. Fans of the first Worms can expect much of the same quality as the original.
Just like with the graphics the simplistic sounds give Worms 2 charm. The funny voices and cheeky sounds effects makes this a very entertaining game.
The gamplay is easy to pick up on and if you’ve played the first installment you’ll have no problems with this one. Even the younger gamer should be able to master the actions in a few minutes.
This is one of its strengths. Worms 2 is very entertaining on many levels. Its charm and cheeky humor is addicting. As the levels become more challenging so does the ability to put it down.
With the new online and Hot-Seat modes there are plenty of reasons to play it over and over again.
Although Worms may not be the most exciting game to look at it certainly is one of the more exciting games to play and after all isn’t that what a game is supposed to do. Worms is fun for the entire family.
